Delete your EMALINO account

Delete your account in three steps

1. Sign in to EMALINO in the mobile app or at emalino.com.
2. Open Account and select the Data & Legal tab.
3. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account and confirm.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account signs you out everywhere at once and erases your profile and the personal data linked to it: your name, email address, phone number, your own photos, videos, voice messages and files, and your location data. No review by EMALINO staff is needed. Some records stay: messages you sent remain in the conversations of the people you sent them to, photos and documents you added to a workspace stay with that workspace (including a workspace that closes with your account), billing and tax documents are retained for the period required by law and then deleted, and audit records are kept with your identifying details removed.

You choose when the erasure runs. By default it runs on a date within one month of the deletion, shown to you before you confirm; until that date EMALINO support can restore your account if you ask, and routine backups expire on their own schedule. If you choose Erase now, the erasure starts as soon as you confirm and cannot be undone. Either way you receive a receipt by email when you delete the account and a confirmation when the erasure is complete.

Before you delete

If you are the only owner of a property, project, or team, transfer ownership or delete it first. EMALINO checks for these and shows you anything that needs attention before deletion can finish.

Cannot sign in?

If you can no longer access your account, you can still ask us to delete it. Contact support and we will verify your identity and remove your account and its data.
